The chosen candidate is assigned to your company as a Hallmark Personnel temporary employee.  You are now able to evaluate this employee’s productivity directly, without a binding commitment to hire.  Following the completion of a pre-arranged probationary period, you are welcome to convert our employee to your payroll at no charge.  (Early conversion, on a for-fee basis, is also available).

A La Carte Services are designed to aid a company by complimenting their existing hiring practices with those of Hallmark Personnel's experienced recruiters.  These options provide our clients the freedom to pick from the list of services to utilize only what they need to help supplement their efforts.  Please contact us for information concerning the pricing per service.
  • Creating a Job Description:  Hallmark Personnel will provide assistance developing a detailed job description suitable for internal distribution and posting for external sites, including: primary and secondary duties; required software; and desired qualities.  Cost is dependent upon level of position.
  • In-person Candidate Interviews:  Hallmark Personnel's Recruiters will conduct in-depth, face-to-face candidate interviews, followed by interview assessment worksheets provided to the client.
  • Computerized Skills Assessment:  Automated, scientifically validated assessments are available for leading software titles (including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Photoshop), as well as for other skills (Typing Speed, Bookkeeping Knowledge, and others).  Assessments are offered on either a per-test basis or in package pricing.
  • Employment Reference Checks: Hallmark Personnel will conduct up to three extensive reference checks over the telephone, with summary reports provided to the client.
  • Background Check and Verification Services:  Hallmark Personnel is able to obtain Criminal Background Check, Education and Employment Verification, Consumer Credit Reports, and Checks of DMV Records.

Payroll Services In addition to staffing, Hallmark Personnel provides third party payroll administration.  This applies to employees whom the clients identify and refer to Hallmark Personnel for payroll.  Please note that NO FEE is assessed when taking an employee from a payroll service plan to a permanent position within your company.

Payroll service may be a valuable management tool for you under the following conditions:

  • When budget constraints place a strict limit on department headcount, payroll service enables you to add a person to your team without officially increasing payroll.
  • When you would like to evaluate a candidate on-the-job before officially hiring him or her.
  • When you want to employ a person for a specified term only. Payroll service frees you of the paperwork of adjusting your payroll records.
